Storms

Thunderstorms are flaring up across the Texas panhandle and into western Oklahoma tonight. A couple of tornadoes have already been spotted. Jeanie and I were talking earlier about how with the technology that is now available it is much easier to spot and verify that tornadoes have touched down. In the past when we were children our parents listened to the radio and there was little valuable information available about the storms. Our parents would put us in the storm shelter and they would go out and watch the clouds. They were blissfully unaware of how many tornadoes were touching down and causing damage all around them.

Nowadays we know very well that there are tornadoes and that they are very dangerous. However, some people still tend to ignore the danger just like in the past as in out of sight out of mind. But that does not make the danger any less real. Sadly, for too many they ignore the danger until it is too late and they find themselves in the path of the storm without taking the precautions that they should have taken.

Hopefully and prayerfully no one will be injured tonight and the property damage will be limited.

Update and Prayer Requests

We've been away from home for a couple of days and returned last night. I plan to try to setup the projector again today. I messed up the resolution Sunday morning and may have to call for help. Definitely a learning experience.

Several Prayer Requests:
