God has jump-started my life again lighting a fire which I desperately want to see grow into ablaze. Attending the pastor's conference and convention at Tulsa definitely helped. We heard some inspiring preaching from Clyde Cain, Al Meredith, Claude Thomas, and Anthony Jordan. The very last sermon from Wendell Lang was exactly what I needed.

Billy Sutton is still in the hospital and the doctor was not very encouraging about how much longer he can survive. Maybe only through Thanksgiving but most likely not through Christmas. Billy has lung cancer and it is becoming more and more difficult for him to breath. He is on oxygen all the time and must sit up all the time even to sleep and still has difficult breathing. Please pray for Billy.

We had a good Sunday! Monday I am going to a pastor's conference at Tulsa and will probably not be back until sometime Wednesday. Hope to recharge some spiritually. Nick is going with me but Jeanie is having to stay and work. It will be Wednesday before the next devotional is sent.
