Jeanie had another really long day arriving home at about 1:00 A.M. this morning. Not sure how late she will have to work today. Her co-worker who only let her boss know Monday that she was leaving actually only worked through Wednesday.

Sunday is FFA (Future Farmers of America) day at our church with those in the local chapter all attending together Sunday morning and we will have a lunch for them after the service. Sunday afternoon is the Erick Nursing Home Service so it will be a busy day.

Have been doing battle with the garage door springs. Another of them broke this week and they didn't have the right length so the longer spring doesn't work right. Will have them order two of the right size and strength today. I wasn't at home when this one broke but when the one before broke I thought there had been an earthquake because of all the noise and could hear something falling. Wouldn't want to be around it when it actually happened!!

Jeanie just called and said one of her co-workers was leaving and that her last day will be Thursday. The difficult thing for Jeanie is that now she must learn in a few hours during the next four days how to do the work that her co-worker was doing. Jeanie will have to do all of her co-worker's work in addition to what she has already been doing. Since Jeanie is already working six days a week and arrived home Friday night at about midnight I don't know how she can possibly do this. Her co-worker leaving turns a difficult situation into a nightmare for her. It also is troubling since we would like to be able to see our grandson before his surgery March 28 and it is doubtful now that she will be able to have a full day to travel to do that. Also we planned to be there for our grandson's surgery in March and not sure how she can possibly do that now.

Last year the tax season was a terrible ordeal for Jeanie but it was magnified by her father being hospitalized for about three weeks during that time. The stress is mounting and it reveals itself in health problems. We must pray that the Lord will walk with her through each step of this time. We will pray that even though she may be in the furnace the Lord will be there with her to shield her and protect her, and strengthen her. In Your Name Lord Jesus we as this. Amen!
