Visited Billy Sutton at the hospital again and he was not doing very well. Also visited Geraldine Carlson who is from Sweetwater but now lives in Elk City. She had knee replacement surgery week ago Monday but she is having problems and they have stopped all therapy for now. It is a concern since the three men died in Minnesota after knee replacement surgery.

They are pouring part of the concrete for the foundation of the new fellowship hall today. Looking forward to seeing some more progress on the construction.

Thanksgiving. As David does in Psalm 16 we see that being thankful and grateful for what God has done in our lives is always a choice. David could have been bitter about many things in his life but instead he talks about the pleasant places where the boundary lines have fallen in his life. We have the same choice. We can dwell on the bad or we can focus on those pleasant places.

We had a very nice Thanksgiving service and meal Sunday at our church. The nursing home and evening services were especially good. After the evening service went to Elk City to visit Billy Sutton. Billy was asleep but Gail said that he had had a bad day. Billy is not expected to live much longer but I'm still praying.
