Tomorrow begins a four day revival at our church at Sweetwater, Oklahoma. The focus of the revival is on substance abuse which is rampant in our community and state. We are making another attempt to reach out to the young people of the community to address this serious problem. We are making a special effort to have our young people attend tomorrow morning and Wednesday night with events planned for them. Eric Chaffin is our evangelist. Eric is the director of S.A.N.E. (Sooner Alcohol Narcotics Education). 17,000 people die every year as a result of substance abuse.

It's Friday! and we are still alive and still have opportunities to serve our Lord. Lisa Beamer is certainly an inspiration! She is flying again today but today on the same flight/route her husband took. She is an example of faith in action. May God bless and protect her and her family! Some of the people some have looked up to in the past (movie/TV stars) are afraid to fly unless they have their own chartered flight. Really gives us a perspective of courage driven by faith and of a lack of courage as a result of a lack of faith.

This week has been busy with preparations for our revival beginning Sunday. Wedding performed yesterday. Continuing preparations for revival today. Our son Nick is doing better. God continues to bless us in unexpected ways! May He bless your lives as well!
