Today is my mother's birthday and we took some time to visit her and my Dad and had a good visit. We also visited with my mother-in-law. Visits like these are joyous but also difficult because of the decline in the health of those we love. Of course we remember the great times we had with them in the past but know they cannot be repeated. If we knew then what we know now we would have treasured those times even more greatly as we were experiencing them.
